Finally it’s all over, after months of speculation, more than 100 applicants, 14 selected candidates, a lack of transparency, and many many podcasts 😉, Karim Khan from the UK was elected prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
We gathered a few comments. Mark Kersten has written about the choice here. Mariana Pena of Open Society Justice Initiative has written about the need for vetting here. And many people who’ve seen Khan or worked with him, sent in their recordings. Enjoy!
P.S. Stephanie knows the ICTY is not the international criminal court for the former Yugoslavia but the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia but for the sake of sanity decided not to re-record to get the error out. But oh, the shame
